Ji Ga Zo Puzzle Review

The new revolution in puzzles is now here. With Ji Ga Zo Puzzle you are able to take your face and apply it to a puzzle. But this is not an ordinary puzzle. You are actually building the puzzle from scratch. What you do is you get a CD that you load onto your computer and you upload a picture of your choice. Now this part to me is tricking because you have to choose a picture that would turn out. You don't want anything with to much going on. The picture I used was a simple head shot of my daughter. I couldn't get any other picture to turn out just right.

Now after you get your picture uploaded you simple print out a key that has different shapes and symbols on it. From there you match the shaded interlocking pieces to build your custom puzzle. The puzzle is very time consuming. I loved the idea of it, but it was harder to keep my kids attention with it. The age is from 8 and up, but I think it may be suitable for a higher age group. While making the puzzle it did come to mind, that thus would make an awesome present for someone once finished.

Another Family Game Night! Hasbro Review/Giveaway

If you are like me you are always on the lookout for ways to keep your family entertained and at the same time being able to spend time together.  I’m a big fan of Hasbro games, because they strive to do just that. I was thrilled when asked if I would like to review Scrabble Flash. I have never been big on Scrabble, because I’m the world worst when it comes to spelling. I have found with Scrabble Flash it’s more than that. With Scrabble Flash, not only is there a spelling aspect to the game it’s also a challenge within a challenge. I can remember sitting for hours playing Scrabble with my family, and now it seems impossible to keep my children’s attention. With Scrabble Flash I don’t have that problem. Like the original Scrabble you are trying to compose words, but the trick is you only have five letters and a short amount of time to come up with the word.  This game brings the excitement to Scrabble that younger kids might not find in the regular Scrabble board game. If you are looking for your next game to add to your family game night, then I suggest grabbing Scrabble Flash!

To help ensure that FAMILY GAME NIGHT is fun and carefree, Hasbro and TOMBSTONE® Pizza are teaming up this month to give you FREE (up to $7.01) TOMBSTONE Pizza with the purchase of a new game. For a limited time, pick up ANY Hasbro game at your local retailer, then visit the "Special Offer" tab at FamilyGameNight.com to download a mail in offer form to receive a coupon for a FREE (up to $7.01) TOMBSTONE Pizza. Whether you choose MONOPOLY or SCRABBLE, Original or Garlic Bread, head to your local retailer before this offer ends on April 30. Visit us at FamilyGameNight.com or on Facebook for more information and full offer details.

Now for the fun part the Giveaway. Hasbro is giving one of my lucky readers a Scrabble Flash!

Smart Girls Like To Be Pampered Too!

When I’m at home with my daughter and the weather outside is bad, I like to find things to do with her around the house to keep her busy. I know all kids love to watch TV, and movies I don’t believe they should spend the whole day doing so. I believe that a child’s mind can be as creative as you want it to be. I think doing crafts and such with my daughter expands and enriches her mind in so many ways. I recently came across SmartLab Toys and was intrigued with what I saw.  Although they are called Smart Lab Toys this company goes way beyond the normal stereotype.  I came across the SmartLab Sweet Spa, and I knew my daughter would love this kit. It pulls your child in with the things they love. My daughter is a true diva girly girl. She loves to have spa days and be pampered. With the Sweet Spa lab kit, it gives her the chance to be pampered, but also learn how these products are made, and what science is behind it.
A little bit about the All-Natural Spa Lab
Emphasizing a you-can-do-it-yourself attitude, this Dr. Toy Best Green Product empowers girls to get their hands dirty making chemical-free products while learning the science behind the interacting ingredients. Covering science and beauty, projects/recipes use household materials and custom-tooled components to concoct scrumptious smelling spa treatments at home. The citric acid adds pizzazz to bath-bombs and the cosmetic-grade glitter gives a shimmery glow to your products.

The All-Natural Spa Lab uses products that most already have in your pantry, if not they are all inexpensive to buy.

We started out with making the Pucker up Lip Balm in Vanilla. The ingredients we need were as follow:
  • 1.       Petroleum Jelly
  • 2.       Honey
  • 3.       Vegetable shortening
  • These are all basic things that I already had in my house hold.

After making the lip balm we made the Bomb Shell bath-bomb. This was probably the best, because of the reaction the water has with the baking soda cornstarch and citric acid. The Directions that come with this set are easy to read and follow. Not only does the book give you the recipes for the different spa products it also gives you the some facts about why come chemicals react with others.  Throughout this whole process my daughter was intrigued and asks many questions.  I am very pleased with this product. I have been thinking of different themes to have for my daughter’s birthday and I feel that a home spa party is sounding pretty good right now! If you like this product it's available for $19.99 and is available at  http://www.smartlabtoys.com/all-natural-spa-lab.html, Amazon.com and other select retailers.

Weekend Fun on Mars!

This weekend is going to be a fun one! As you may know my family is a big fan of Disney, and I love to take my girls to see the latest Disney movie! I think this movie is going to be so much fun for me and the girls. It's going to show how outsiders see us Moms and how important and valuable we are to a society. Is there anything about you, that you think your kids could live without? I know mine could live without me telling them to clean their rooms. I would love to hear what you think. Also will you be seeing this movie this weekend? It will be in theaters March 11th! If you love the trailer to Mars Needs Moms, please like them on FaceBook: Mars Needs Moms

A little bit about the movie:
Based on the book by: Berkeley Breathed
Take out the trash, eat your broccoli—who needs moms, anyway?  Nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green) finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young. Produced by the team behind “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” and “The Polar Express,” “Mars Needs Moms” showcases Milo’s quest to save his mom—a wild adventure in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader (Mindy Sterling). With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble (Dan Fogler) and a rebel Martian girl called Ki (Elisabeth Harnois), Milo just might find his way back to his mom—in more ways than one.

Dive into the warmer weather with this season Sexiest Swim wear from Express

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Express for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’ is getting close to the warmer seasons and as we get close everyone is preparing their bodies for the perfect swim suits. Shopping for a bathing suit doesn’t have to be painful or embarrassing if you already know what you have in mind. One way that I prepare myself is to know what looks best on my body. One of the biggest things for me is to know my size; I know that I wear a different size on top then bottom. Express’s new spring women's swimwear line gives you the availability to choose different size for each piece. So for example I have a Farley small chest so I would go with a Pattern top with no padding strapless or a halter strap.
As I was looking hrough Express bikinis I came across one I loved. It has a pattern top with a removable halter strap, along with low rise bikini bottom to show off my hips! If you love Express as much as I do, sign up for the Express e-mail for the latest updates. Also sign up for the email for a chance to win one of ten $200 Express gift cards! I encourage you to sign up for the Express e-mail for the chance to win a $200 Express gift card, as the sweepstakes end 4.21.11 at 11:59p.m, EST. A night at the Show with a Princess

This past weekend we took my daughter to see Disney’s Princess Classics on Ice, and she absolutely loved it! Disney Princess Classics takes you through the Princess story of how each princess meets their prince Charming. It takes you back to all the classics Malian, Jasmine, Aerial, Aura, Snow White, Bell, and Cinderella.
I know that my daughter has seen every princess movie and can sing along with every song, but it amazed me how she knew what each scene was. She knew when Aura pricked her finger that she slept until her prince kissed her, she knew when the beast was stabbed by Gaston he would turn into a prince. She even knew that when the Witch found snow white that she would eat the apple and fall asleep. She talked me through every part of the show.
Sleeping Beauty
I just have to say this show was wonderful, they got each princesses story across in such a short time. The main focus was on Cinderella though, I can’t complain because she has always been one of my favorites. The only complaint I do have is they could have done more with Malian. She is the only Character my daughter didn’t know much about. I had to do some explaining to her about that one. But I have to say just seeing her that short period of time, made my daughter want to watch her movie. If this show comes to a city near you, and you have a Diva princess like I do I highly recommend you go and see Disney’s Princesses Classics on Ice!
Her biggest fantasy to come is to see where these princesses live, maybe one day we can make that dream come true!
The Little Mermaid
Snow White
Bell and the Beast
Malian
Jasmine from Aladdin
