On This Day I'm Thankful

Things I’m Thankful For

There are so many things I’m thankful for. To start off my list I’m thankful to have such a forgiving God! I know that all things are possible through him. He gave me life and I am thankful to be a child of God!
I am thankful for my parents. They sacrificed a lot to make sure that my sister and I had a good life. They made sure we were never without anything we needed, not only to my sister and me, but also to my family and our close friends. I get my caring personality from my parents and for that I am thankful.
I am thankful for Jess. It is awesome to have someone love you unconditionally. To be able to find someone that loves you the way God loves us is a true blessing for that I am thankful.
I’m thankful to have two beautiful daughters in my life. The best gift God could give to a mother is that of a child.
I am thankful for my family. My family has become my best friends. I have been through a lot in my life, and through every step my family has been there for me.
I am thankful for a chance to share with you everything I’m thankful for. God has used me in so many ways and for that I’m thankful to be able to witness his greatness to you.

Orglamix Haul!

So I have done a review for Orglamix mineral makeup and I have to say I'm hooked. I have bought several products since then and I just wanted to share a few with you know from their Candy Glam line. These were only being sold for a limit of time around Halloween. I 'm so glad I was about to get my hands on these because the colors are to die for! The colors I received are:

ooh la la
frosted snowflakes
sweet tarte
HD sky
cabana boy (my favorite)

I'm so in love with these colors, and I'm glad they have been added to my collection! Stay tuned because I will have another Orglamix haul here soon!!
With this purchase I also received two tubes of Sparkle glitter. I haven't used it as of yet, but I will here shortly.
I wasn't sure how to use it, but this is what Cheri sent to me about it:

Eyes are the most versatile canvas for sporting sparkle, thanks to liners, shadows, and add-ons that can stand alone for subtlety or be layered for drama. Keep these pro pointers in mind when adding spark to your stare.

Iridescent shadows make the most impact when concentrated on the ball of the lid, along the brow bone, or in the inner corners of the eye.

-Apply glitter to a creamy base—like concealer, foundation, or a cream eye shadow—then use a piece of scotch tape pick up stray flecks.

-Adhere crystals to the upper lash lines or the corners of the eye with eyelash glue.

-When using shimmery or flecked eyeshadows, always apply a primer first. This will keep the oil on your lids from dulling the sparkle.

-Choose your eyeliner formula depending on the wattage you want: Gels and liquids are more concentrated with sparkle while pencils have a more colorful base.

A more adventurous way to adorn your eyes is adding flicker to your flutter. While there are pre-spangled lash sets available, you can also try these tricks.

-Spray false lashes with hair spray and then dip them into a superfine glitter, avoiding the base of the false lashes. (Be sure to let them dry and shake off the excess before applying.) For a toned-down version, spray them with a glitter-flecked hair mist.

Creating dazzling smile can be as simple as a swipe of sparkly gloss. For more ways to add a kiss of sparkle to your lips, try these tips.

-Sparkly lipsticks are best reserved for nighttime when looks are more dramatic and reflections are more noticeable.

-For full-fledged glitter lips, press the glitter over tacky lips, and let everything set. Do not press or mash lips together.

-Mix shimmer into your favorite gloss or pat it into the center of your lower lip to make your pout appear plumper

Sparkling nail polishes are especially popular this season. They're festive, flashy, and fun to experiment with. Optimize your fingertip flare with these expert suggestions.

-Apply crystals while nails are tacky and cover them with a clear topcoat.

-To sparkle-ize your favorite polish, funnel a teaspoon of fine glitter into the bottle and shake well.

-If you want to manually apply glitter to your nails, add a coat of clear polish over the base coat. This additional layer keeps nails smooth and helps hold glitter in place. After you apply the glitter, seal it in with a thick topcoat.

-Use cotton swabs to remove glittery nail polish. Their fibers are good for picking up and removing the tiny flecks.

How honored I am

How Honored I am

Before I came into this world you made the choice as a young man to fight for your country.
You joined the navy and became an air dale.
For that I am honored.
After serving your country, you took it a step further to serve your community by becoming a fireman.
For that I am honored.
You married my mother and helped bring me into this world.
You raised me with your values goals, and strong will.
For that I am honored.
You have touched many lives over the past years, some you may not even know.
For that I am honored.
There are things that happen to you in life that never strays from your mind, stories that you tell of things that have occurred through out your life.
There is a special person that I’m honored to know and one day be able to tell his story.
You are my Dad, friend, and my Hero.
And for that I am honored!

Update on Wedding Planning

So I have been planning my wedding for a while now. I have found that it is not an easy task. I have come up with a finale date and it will be the 30th of April 2011. I want it to be during the day because I want to have light finger foods for the reception. I’m not planning anything extravagant, just something simple like me. Will be a church wedding and I might also have the reception at the church (I’m still undecided) and my closest friends and family will the only ones attending.

I still can’t decide on my colors. I think we are going with pool and champagne, but that can still change. The best part yet is I have found the perfect wedding dress! I love everything about it, from the delicate bead work to the lace cap sleeves on it, to the long train behind it. It took a while to find it, but my mom did an excellent job! It is more then I could ever ask for. I will feel like a true princess walking down the isle in it.

I will have eight bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen (hopefully) and 1 junior bridesmaid. I’m so excited and can’t wait till the day. I’m not only excited about the wedding, but I’m excited to marry the man of my dreams. Not everyone will get a chance to meet their soul mate, but not only have I met him and I’m marring him!

Great Site for Holiday Shopping

When shopping for this holiday season whether it’s for the perfect ring or just an outfit to wear out on the town it can become a stressful event. Instead of the hassle of fighting through crowds to find your purchase I suggest trying out This site was founded in 2004 by founders Michael Yang and Yeogirl Yun, who is as well founder of mySimon. They have made it easy to find anything you need or want on one site. You can find a wide range of merchandise from a bolero Jacket to a three carrot diamond ring.
If you are looking for the perfect diamond ring they do offer a buying guide for diamonds. The site is easy to navigate and has everything broken down into categories. You can even search through each individual category by what color item you are looking for. If you are looking for a site that has everything you are looking for at your finger tips then I suggest taking a look through
