Brick Oven Pizza, Red Barron is the Best

If you are looking for a pizza that is fast and taste like it's free from the oven and not frozen, then Red Baron Pizza is for you. Even though it's a frozen pizza it doesn't have that been in the freezer for so long taste. It is made with the best fresh ingredients and you can sure taste it.  I'm one to shy away from frozen pizza's because you can never get it to cook evenly all the way through. I'm not sure what Red Baron does different, but I can say it is delicious.

Minted. A look into their new Art Collection

As some of you may know I have been bitten by a crafting bug! And by crafting I'm talking about taking something old or dull and making it look new! I have never been much of a decorator, but now that this craft bug has bitten, I have now looked at decorating with a new light. I see space and colors differently now. Now that I can see all this empty space, I'm ready to fill it with wonderful things. And it just so happens I was asked to take a look around Minted.com to view their new art collection. What can I say, I've fallen in love. All of their art work is done by independent artist. The artwork is awesome and very original. They have a huge variety and selection for any taste.

This is just a little bit about the Minted community:
Minted's community of independent artists and designers are located in 48 states and 43 countries. They are illustrators and textile designers, painters and packaging designers, marketers and stay-at-home moms. Some have design degrees, and others are participating in Minted competitions to learn design for the first time. They share a deep love for creative expression, personal development, risk-taking, and most importantly, paying it forward by helping each other.

Not only are you getting something that is original, you are helping someone achieve their dream. I love to see a company will to help others achieve what they want to accomplish. I have been very impressed with all the artwork I have seen thus far, and can't wait to make my first purchase. So please be on the lookout for a follow up review from me!

Review:: Afraid To Fly : by S. L. Jennings

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000035_00037]

Afraid To Fly

The Fearless Series: Book Two

S.L. Jennings

Synopsis

I’d like to tell you that I’m ok.

That the meaningless sex with countless women has somehow numbed the pain. That it’s deciphered the constant confusion in my head. Eased the self-hatred that sinks into my gut every time I look in the mirror.

I’d like to tell you that time heals all wounds.

That we evolve and grow into well-adjusted, stable adults, set on a path to right the world’s wrongs. That we are not our past…we are not our pain.

I want to tell you all those things. Hell, I want to believe all those things. But I’d be lying. I’m good at that. Living a lie is the only way I truly know how to survive. But the day I saw her, I stopped surviving. I stopped existing. And for the first time in 24 years, I started living.

She brought me back to life. Set me free and sent my soul soaring. Made this useless shell of a man feel like…something. Something whole and real and good.

She saved me. Although she believes I wasn’t even worth saving.

Excerpt

It was if my body had known what my soul needed to mend itself from the verbal assault that had left me open and bleeding. Sex was that healing balm for me. And this was exactly the place where I could find it.

None of the dancers here were prostitutes, and I never paid to get laid. Ever. They fucked me because they wanted me. And I fucked them because I needed them. It was an even trade.

Contrary to popular belief, I didn’t stick my dick in just anything, and other than Cherri, had only been intimate with two other girls there: Skylar, a hot sophomore at UNC Charlotte, stripping her way through college, and Velvet, a tattooed, purple-haired vixen from England who fucked like a porn star and cursed like a sailor.

Right now, I needed Velvet. If anyone could make me forget the last twenty minutes, Raven’s razor-sharp words and myself, it was her.

My legs carried me inside, despite the numbness I felt. I didn’t want to be here, but I needed to be. And once I had the soft silkiness and warmth of a woman’s skin against me, I’d feel a helluva lot better. Luckily, Velvet was there for a day shift, working the lunch crowd in her usual getup of velvet and chains. Today she wore a cut-out thonged romper that left little to the imagination. And that was fine by me. I was tired of thinking anyway.

“Hey love,” she smiled as I approached. Her lips were painted a deep, dark eggplant purple that almost looked black. I’d have the color smeared all over me within the hour, most of it in places invisible to the public.

I didn’t waste any time. I didn’t have it in me to go through the motions and pretend I was here for anything other than sex. I leaned in close to her ear, letting my lips brush her earlobe in that sensual way I knew would get her hot, and whispered, “Back room in 10.” Then I quickly made my way to the bar to slam a shot of tequila.

She was there when I arrived, lounging on a plush loveseat with her heeled boots propped up on the arm. She looked at me with sin gleaming in her heavily lined eyes and gave me a slow, Cheshire grin. “Someone’s awfully anxious today.”

I was already loosening my tie as I stalked towards her and said, “Clothes off, boots on and get on your knees.”

My Review

I have fallen in love with every book that S.L. Jennings has written to date. Every book has been a must read on my book list and this book is no different. Kami's background is dark and at times hard to relate to I can still find a piece of her in me. You fight and strive with her throughout the book for her to fight the light in all that she is going through.
Blaine in my opinon makes simple sexy. He is there for Kami, no matter the struggles she goes through and wont give up. He is the guy we all want and search for in our lives!  I mean who doesn't want someone who is so gental on the inside and a tough guy on the exterior tatoo piercings and all!
Fear of Falling says it all. There is always pain and struggles the we edure, but never loose track of all the beauty that comes with it.
I give this book 5 stars. Great detail of the characters and easy to read.

Fear Of Falling

The Fearless Series: Book One

S.L. Jennings

I can’t remember the last time I felt completely safe. Security seemed more like a luxury to me, reserved for those who were fortunate enough to have picture perfect childhoods. For those who didn’t bear the ugly scars that keep me bound in constant, debilitating fear. I’ve run from that fear my entire life. But when I met him, for once, I couldn’t run anymore.

He scared the hell out of me in a way that excited every fiber of my being. It wasn’t the tattoos or the piercings. It wasn’t the warmth that seemed to radiate from his frame and blanket me whenever he was near. It was just…him. The scary beautiful man that threatened to alter 23 years of routine and rituals, and make me face my crippling fear.

My name is Kami and I am constantly afraid. And the thing that scares me the most is the very thing I want.

“Don’t worry,” he smiled, pulling me into the hard warmth of his chest. “I’ve got you. I’ll always catch you when you fall.”

And just like that, Blaine had staked his claim on the untouched part of me that no living soul had ever moved. He had captured every fear, every reservation, and crushed them in the palm of his inked hand.

Frosty Vox Box

It's always exciting to participate in an Influenster Vox Box. You get to try some of the latest products and give your honest opinion on them. I'm this box I was sent:
1. No.7 Protect and Perfect Intense Advance Serum
2. NYC Expert Last Lip Color
3. Celestial Seasoning Candy Cane Lane Green Tea
4. EcoTools Hair Brush
5. Rommel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
6. Rimmel Scandle Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner
7. McCormick gourmet Thyme
8. Fruit Vines Bites (cherry)

I've had a chance to try all these products, and I can say there are some I love and others that I'm not to into as of right now. So I will go down the list and give you my thoughts on each.

1. . No.7 Protect and Perfect Intense Advance Serum
Although my skin isn't showing to many signs of aging I did try out this product. I can say after the first use I did feel like my skin was tighter. I do look for ways to help prevent aging, but I would do it in a natural way. Since I'm not quite ready for this product I don't see myself buying it again.

2. NYC Expert Last Lip Color
I love how this lipstick just glides on and is so smooth. The color is rich and I didn't find myself reapplying it. The color I was sent was plum and a tad bit to dark for my taste so I did apply a pink lipgloss on top of it. The lipstick itself had enough shine to it, so there was no need for the lip gloss, only to tone it down a bit. I would purchase this lipstick again in the future.

3. Celestial Seasoning Candy Cane Lane
I have just recently started drinking green tea, and I have found myself having to add flavors into it (such as peppermint oil) to be able to drink it. With this tea there is just enough balance that no other ingredients are needed. The flavors are spot on and you get what you pay for. I can also add the sleepy time tea is very calming and a good way to relax.

4. EcoTools Hair Brush
One of my favorite brushes by fair. My daughter has a head full of hair, and is very tender headed. The detangling brush has been a perfect match for her. I've used it daily since I received it.

5. Rommel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
6. Rimmel Scandle Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal

I put these two together because I use them hand in hand. This eyeliner has been a lifesaver. I have used it daily since I received it and I love it!! I've had problems in the past with eyeliners smearing or running and this one stays in place. With that said taking it off was a pain if I didn't have the just let it go makeup remover. This has worked wonders on getting both the eyeliner and my mascara off with no hassle and no irritating of my eyes. They both have been added to my daily routine.

7. McCormick gourmet Thyme
Thyme has not been a spice that I have had much experiment with, but I have used it a few times in soups. My husband is vegan and soups have been an easy dish to make for him. Just a dash of thyme goes a long way. We have also used it many times on his Kale chips. Just sprinkle kale with a little olive oil, thyme, and salt bake for 20 minutes and you will have a perfect chip.

8. Fruit Vines
Love love love them! It's an healthier alternative to snacking on candy. These have been a big hit with my girls too. If you enjoy twizzlers then you will love these too!!

That just about sums my experience with this VoxBox up. As always everything in this blog is my honest opinion. These products were sent to me by Influenster.com for free, in return for my honesty.
